Barton shifter question

I just ordered the Barton shifter and bracket for my 2012 GT. My car had a bunch of dealer-installed Roush goodies when I bought it new ... including a new shift boot and black Roush shift ball (which I really like).

I assume since the two Roush parts fit the factory shifter, and the Barton claims to accept factory shift knob, that they Roush parts should fit the Barton? Anyone have any insight here?

Thanks. I can't wait for the shifter. Took advantage of AM's sale on the combo and saved like $70 or so.

The Barton shifter has the exact same thread that the stock shifter has. So there shouldn't be any reason why it shouldn't fit. Congratulations on the new shifter tho.. It makes a world of difference. No more missed shifts with spirited driving and a lot shorter throws. One thing that I was not expecting is that the shifts are far more mechanical. It has more of a click-click shifting than a smooth shift but I've grown accustomed to it.

Good to know ... thanks. I look forward to the shifter. I think I will like the click-click ... but we'll see.
