Lets talk shifting

Okay so AM is having a sale right now on the Hurst Competition Plus Shifter. I have posted the link below. My question to everyone is if its worth it. It seems like a good deal for a shifter. Im not heading to a track anytime soon, but it seems like a good way to improve your drive as well as spice up the inside. Any opinions out there?

Hurst Competition Plus Mustang Shifter (05-10 GT) 3910201 - Free Shipping!

Re: Lets talk shifting

Does the 05-10 shifter work in a 2011+ GT? Seems to be a common theme that getting a better short throw shifter makes the MT82 a good deal more manageable - street driving, strip, or track.

I dont think they do. From what I have seen the 11+ kits look a whole lot different than the 05-10

Different transmissions ... the shifters are not compatible.
