Ive been a camaro guy my whole life. 68-71 are by far my fav cars ever. But any camaro after an iroc z is junk. The 2000s look like a batmobile with less balls and the new ones just dont do it for me, plus they sit way too low in the cockpit. On that note!!! Nothing compares to my 2012 gt premium, gorgeous car. Honestly i dont even like 2010s and below. Except for classics of course

I think the camaro, challenger and mustang all did an awesome job at modernizing the classics! How can you guys not see this? The camaro looks like a modern version of the old ones! And so does
The interior and gauges.

Also the mustang from 94-2004 the mustang was junk! With the exception of the 03-04 svt and the 03 Mach 1.

For me, the new Camaros are cool, but compared to the Mustang and Challenger, they are just third place. It seems too much like the XLR than classic Camaro. There was no question for Mustangs and Challengers and the classic roots.

Re: Mustang GT vs Camaro, The Look!

As some of you have read already, my husband has a 2012 Challenger. It's an awesome car.. fun to drive, and really gorgeous. But my heart belongs to the Stang, and I'm totally in love with my 2013 GT. Sometimes it's kinda nice to have em both handy though.

On a business trip one of my co-workers ended up with a camaro as a rental...he let me drive it and i felt like i was peeking through a mail slot! I liked the fiat that i ended up with as a rental better than that pos camaro!

You see just as many Camaros as Mustangs. And, if there is more Mustangs, it's cause they are better...

I really didn't like the new camaro when it first came out. The exterior has grown on me, but that interior is absolutely horrendous. Almost everything about it, steering wheel, dash, the gauges aren't too bad, but there is so much wrong, I hope the next gen is much better.

Is this what you guys feel that the Mustang Forum is all about or should just be about? Just getting with some "Newbie" to sit around and just talk about other cars, for the Hell of it? I guess that makes "Newbies" feel like they are Powerful and Fast and Big. This is not why I joined, and I am dissapointed.

It's just Sad that the best thing, people can come up with is just to, come on and just "bad" talk about other cars. I just see it as a waste of time and High Schoolish/Juvenile type BS. I just don't get off on talking about other peoples cars.

Bailout, and soon to be built in china. Even if the camaro didn't look like a piece a crap, those two reasons are enough for me not to buy one. Instead I just laugh when I see one, and ask the owner, when the American people are going to get paid back that bailout $$$. Oh wait, they took that money too build GM plants in china.. I almost forgot... Lol

Personally I like the way the new Camaro looks just slightly more than the new 5.0 (only on the outside though)!!... the new GT/CS though looks ten times better than the new SS!.. And best all around bang for your buck goes to the new 5.0 hands down!..

I like "some" of the styling on the Camaro, but a lot of it is garbage. The interior is total crap, and to make it even worse, you can't see **** out of it...

I actually bought a camaro ss right when they came out. Interesting that the auto is 0.4 sec faster to 60. As I'm sure y'all know, that is a massive difference. I wanted a 3.73, a better response (and I bought what turned out to be a damned good auto trans) and a bigger rear window/smaller pillars. Traded it instead of spending the 3k+ to make what I want. The look is unreal tho. The look plus IRS really puts Chevy as the first to break away from str8 muscle car.

That being said, my 5.0 is simply in a different league. I've now owned both, so feel my opinion holds a little weight. No bias here either
