I have a 14 minute video if it idling, and me goosing the throttle a few times. I'll upload it to YouTube, but it's going to take a while since it's over 1GB.
Well sounds like you got that down pat. I'm sure they'll have a new tune waiting for you tomorrow. I asked for the cam tune 3 different times till they finally sent me the real one. I think they was waiting on Mike Wilson.

I'm working from home tomorrow morning and have the afternoon off, so hopefully we can get it sorted out.

Here's the long version (had to move the iPhone and makeshift stand inside halfway through since it started raining).

Re: Bama ghost tune.

I am idling after it's warm at 750-900.At 750 it sounds awesome. It still moves around a little.Wish I new how to get the vids I got on my iphone to this site.I tried and failed after emailing it to my computer and trying.Sounds really good.I managed to get them on facebook, but can not for **** get it on here.At this point I will give it a few weeks or months to decide on keeping it.I feel like it needs to learn a little more. When I cut a/c on it changes.Really no different than how my old school cars were.Drivability is better than my old 69 camaro cammed.Beautiful lope at the 700ish area

I opened in the YouTube app and selected share to email. Once it made a link in the email, I copied and put in the post web link. It makes a web link straight to your vid. I just cancelled the email. I'm sure the is an easier way, but it worked.

Re: Bama ghost tune.

Thanks fellows.I haven't run it 25 miles at the most .Just put it in a few nights ago. In a few weeks I will know if it's in to stay or not.Done alot of BS riding around. For sure gas mileage eater in the city streets with alot of stop and go.I think highway will be fine for the most part. Not to concerned about gas mileage really.I don't drive it alot of miles everyday. Some days I don't drive it at all.Needs a good bath and some wax.Just some TLC and it will feel even better...LOL!

Re: Bama ghost tune.

Close ... it's surging every few seconds though. Makes it sounds like it's cammed, then time travels and isn't cammed. its hard to hear in the video unless you turn it up (crappy iPhone mic).

Going to send this video to bama and hopefully we can get it all straightened out.

---------- Post added at 11:05 AM ---------- Previous post was at 11:03 AM ----------

Just listened to it again, and it sounds like it's every 10 seconds. You can hear it around 0:13-14, 0:23-34 and 0:33-34.

Bama emailed me back and said it's normal for it to do that ... not sure how much I believe that since none of the other cars are doing it =\

I wonder how exactly this tune works and if they could experiment with my modded up 03' gt. I need to buy a tuner anyways since my car is stuck on 93 octane since the tuner is lost forever :/

Probably not, it comes down to timing, and each cam can be individually timed on the 5.0, I don't think the same can be said for the 2v 4.6.

From what I was told, each cylinder can be individually timed on the 5.0... Not sure if thats true but doesn't seem impossible

I would think it has something with the fuel injection or something else but not actually changing the cam or timing on them. Any AMERICAN MUSCLE guys wanna share some light on this?

It's definitely cam timing that makes the car sound lopey
