I recently installed the JLT cold air kit on my 2012 mustang gt automatic. It was 3.15 gears, boss intake and a bama tune. Question is when I go all out it gets up to 7200 to 7500 rpms in second gear and tags the rev limiter and the engine let's off. There could be a few things going on here. First, it's really important that your air filter is on the very end of the JLT piping and not too high. This can easily throw the MAF sensor off and give you issues. Second, if you're CAI is installed correctly, there could be a simple human error in your custom tune.
Double check the JLT intake filter and make sure it's installed 100%. If it is, shoot me a PM with any previous order number of yours. I'll have our lead tuner Mike Wilson look over your tune files and see if there was a mistake with the tuning info form or a simple error when hand writing your tune! Either way we'll get you straightened out!
