Suspension stuff

So Wednesday I bought a Steeda STB and adjustable panhard rod, my rear axle is off center. and it got me thinking more about handling stuff and chassis stiffening, so today, I just now bought some used GT500 sway bars, supposed to be even beefier that the GT sway bars, I guess now I'm on a suspension kick, just getting some small stuff for now. I guess now dampers are next, same guy I bought sway bars from also has GT500 dampers, any suggestions, comment questions?

all feedback is welcome... I don't get butthurt lol

I would stay clear of used suspension parts. For the little bit of extra money you can get new with some type of factory warranty or garuntee against defects. The gt500 stuff will work but not as good as aftermarket (depending on brand). I was going to do the same thing but i have decided not to rush things based on the money and easibility. Do it right the first time because eventually the used gt500 parts wont be good enough and youll end up buying the parts you should have in the first place. Treat her right grab, she dont deserve no hand me downs, lol. Good luck with whatever you do and be safe!

Re: Suspension stuff

Hey, new to this site, but on some others. I can't say enough about the Koni STR.T's. I installed the Steeda Sport springs at the same time and it really made a difference.

Thanks smozilla, and about dampers I have been heavily considering the koni's, just wasnt sure about GT500 stuff. And I already bought the GT500 sway bars, so that'll have to do for now until I can buy some real stuff

Re: Suspension stuff

Yeah, take your time & buy once.

I'm still researching for mine & don't expect to mess with the suspension for many months. Right now I'm looking at Koni yellows, MM camber plates, adj. panhard (eventually likely to go to a Fays2), and springs. Not sure of the springs yet. Steeda Sports, Eibach Pro Kits (those were good only last car), Hotchkis...I'm not sure yet. Maybe spend big & go coilovers.
