Car show!

So I have decided to enter my stang in a car show next month. A little nervous and excited. Any advice from guys that have been in car shows?

Wash and wax car. Don't dress tires until you get there. Detail engine compartment. Get there early enough to finish detailing. Bring a foldable chair. Some places require you to have a fire extinguisher. If u want to win, take pictures, laminate window sticker and make up collage on poster board. Place the made up board on a easel. Along with dyno results if you have them. Buy a stuffed Wile Coyote and sit him on the intake manifold. That got me 1st place. Good Luck

Yea I figured the wash and wax and engine detail. Yea I have to get a foldable chair. Yea I wasn't sure about the collage poster board. The stuffed coyote is an awesome idea. yea we have to be their at 730 I believe and it starts at 10 or 11. Thanks!

I went to the summit racing one Saturday it was all mustang show had so many amazing ones is it a all mustang show?

No the all mustang show here isn't till October. They call it ponies by the sea. The one I'm going to next month is all types like street rods, American muscle, low riders, foreign and the category is new girls category. Those are the different classes you can win in. You can also win a people's choice award.

Pretty much the same advice as earlier: clean it inside & out, have a chair. Remember the sunscreen & camera. And have fun!

car shows are great, some of the best people you can meet are other car owners (minus the few idiots)

I would recommend having the car clean and ready to go. If it sits outside.... you should wake up early and clean it. Dont put tire shine on it until you get to the event.

Take a box or container with cleaning supplies so you can go over any area you want when you get there. Get there early. Make sure the interior is really clean as well as the engine. Most dont require the trunk open so I keep mine closed with all my stuff in it.

Invest in a couple chairs to take with you and sit in. Take a smaller cooler with drinks/lunch if you dont have anything there you want to eat/drink.

Attention to detail is key if you look around the car and see something faded, dirty, etc clean it.

Thats mostly it.

Definitely take a bunch of towels to just i case soon as i got to it it poured down rain had to wipe it completely down and take to wipe dust off.

The only fly in the ointment is Wiley was always the straightman for the Roadrunner. There's got to be another not-so-obvious character to use.

Thanks! I guess I just never realized that when I went to car shows as a kid/teenager with my dad.
