What do you love most about the new '13 Mustang

I love the taillights and although this is more of a small feature, I love how my GT displays the pony symbol when unlocking the doors, it's like the batman signal :p.

I get a kick seeing how people look around trying to determine where it's coming from

I love the tail/brake lights, mustang puddle lights, running lights, but that coyote 5.0 makes me grin big time!

The new grille. I know it's a touchy subject for some, but it looks awesome.

Recaros are about the only thing I care about on them over the 11-12. Not worth a trade, unless that trade comes with a 5.0

For my car I love Sync, Kinda, and the Track Package that it came with. Also I love the Taillights ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT!!! Also the Pig Nose it has.

Re: What do you love most about the new '13 Mustang

They are great looking cars but I wouldn't trade mine in for one. Recaros would be nice but other than that......meh. If I did trade it would be strictly for a color change, love that DIB.

I'd agree with that. 05-10 is worth it. I haven't driven one yet. Just keeps me from buying one.

Everything. High points: LED tails, HID headlights, new hood, Recaros.

I waited a long time to get my ducks in a row to make this work, and the wait was worth it.

I found this PDF brochure for the 2013 Mustang on the net. My first time seeing this and it's awesome. So now I want one for sure

The Track Apps are awesome. "Track Use Only"?? Ya, forget about that. It's fun using the accelerometer.
The whole HUD screen is just awesome. Such a nice screen and a great command center.
The performance pack wheels for the v6, 19"
The mustang puddle lights
The headlights
The hood
The tailend
The whole front end just has a mean and vicious look to it.

I love my 13

Re: What do you love most about the new '13 Mustang

Honestly, the only feature that really makes me want a '13 over my '12 is the HID headlights. I like the more retro front-end of the '12, and the new tail lights ... not sure I prefer them. Track apps - neat, but I like my gauges. 8 more HP - who cares, and at the expense of replacing something mechanical with a coating ... not sure on that.

I understand WHY they made the changes they did, but to be honest they just didn't excite me.

That it's the next to last retro Stang.. Something I felt from the start was a marketing thing geared towards baby boomers that wanted to relive their youth or have something they couldn't back then.
If it was that, it worked and then some by sparking other companies into it, but IMO I thinks it's time to move forward.

I also like the new 5.0L..

Retro is what brought me (at age 19) into the Mustang world. Didn't get one to 21. Agreed 9 years is a good run. '15 we shall see what 2015 brings.

They have grown on me I'll admit that, but it's time to take the next step and stay one step ahead of those 'other manufactures' lol

I think we can progress technologically without making the Mustang look like a Japanese sports car. If I wanted 370Z styling, I would have bought one. I'd hate to end up with a turbo-V6 and a CVT, regardless of what advantages such technology would supposedly bring. Let's progress to a direct-injection Coyote with a dual-clutch tranny option and call THAT progress.

In some ways, our beloved 'stang is already ahead. The new engine is pretty darn fancy and sophisticated, for example.

The laws about MPG will be the undoing of standard V8's in the end. With the addition of the UK market refinement will be a must. The word on styling is that it will be more Euro not Asia inspired.
