On a side note, when the car was towed to the body shop, it still ran. But today, the body guy tells me that the engine will not turn over. I go to check it out and I bring my other key and when I try to start it, all the lights come on but then the lock anti theft light starts flashing and the engine will not crank.

Is anyone familiar with this problem? Does anyone have an idea what may be going on?

Re: Lord, help Primer2tone help his stupid self.

Glad to see the progress and insurance cooperation!

Could it be that your battery is run down enough that it's causing your turn-over prob? Could be enough for lights, but not the starter. You'd think the battery light would come on, but maybe there is not enough juice for the ECU to work properly...?

Sounds like somebody did something to piss off PATS. This may sound silly, but did they/you try locking it and then unlocking it with the keyfob?

Yeah, they've tried putting a booster on it and still nothing.

I haven't tried that. I'm not sure if the body shop has either.

I think it's gonna be option 4. I tried both of my keys and no luck.

Yeah it's painful. But a few weeks ago it looked even worse sitting in my driveway all beaten down. Pulling into my driveway in my cavalier seeing my mustang wounded the way it was everyday was tough.

They got enough paint time from the insurance to do everything except the roof. I'm gonna pay the difference.

So the car is coming together nicely. No word yet on when it's going to be ready. It's still not starting. The PATS has gone mental. It arrived at the dealer today to get that sorted out. I hadn't checked on it in a few days so today felt like I was visiting an old friend. It's funny but I feel like I'm starting to get attached to my car.

...And sorry but no more pictures until its all over.

Sweet, good to hear. I've been reading some about PATS around the web. Seems like when it has issues, it then decides to go mental. Glad to hear the progress. Can't wait to see her when she's done.

I think the door being removed caused an issue. The shop got it running yesterday. I asked what was wrong with it and his response was not very clear which makes me believe that they don't know and the car may have cleared itself.

Well just because my intelligence is minimal doesn't mean I don't enjoy a pic. (I like picture books ;})

Just got back from the body shop. The car will be ready on Monday. I've got to get on my insurance company's *** about the supplement check. They approved it but the check still hasn't came in.

I got my Roush rocker side splitters a few days ago. I haven't posted because I still don't have my car and was hoping to get it back this week. :/
