Wow, I bet you're glad to finally have her back. That CF cowl hood is intense! Where is your grille?

Yeah, I still haven't decided which grille to go with. I've still got my OEM grille with fogs but I don't want to use that and I've still got my saleen grille but it's got a 1/2 inch crack on the corner form the wreck. I do now feel the need for an axel back. Not sure which direction I want to go there either?

Looks mean! Just need a grille, wheels, and mufflers (those stock tips looked tiny). How does she drive?

Shoots strait, no wind noise... Yet. Brakes feel good. So far so good.

I know, I know. My tips are puny.

I want a set of axel backs. I really want a Borla cat back but I can't spend that kinda money on it right now. So I want to settle for an axel back maybe a Roush? I'm not sure. I need something that I could sell in the near future when I'm ready to pick up the Borla kit.

IMO, fix the grille and slap it on. (I don't remember if the crack was near a mounting point...) Run with it a while to give yourself time to think about what direction you want to go.

...also allow you to save up for a cat back setup.

I wonder if regular epoxy would work? If it will stick to the grille good, you can sand and shape it really easily.

Yeah, I've got some epoxy that I used to repair a cracked housing on my buddies headlight. I could probably use that and glue another small piece of plastic behind the crack to help give the bond strength. I wonder how I could make the crack less visible. The grille has a bit of a texture to it and I don't think I'd want to sand down that area.

Re: Lord, help Primer2tone help his stupid self.

Yeah, get a reinforcing piece & epoxy to the back side. Had to do that on a project car--the grille nearly split in two. Epoxied an aluminum strip to the backside & it's still holding.

Nice!! I'm glad to see a fellow Race Red back on the road (there's only a few of us) I would use that grille at least for a little while until u decide for another new one... with the hood closed u will barely notice the crack

I've used masking tape on the back of parts I was looking to fill-in or build-up material. once it's dry, you can just remove the tape. I see what you mean about the texture. I suppose if masking tape or some other tape has a similar texture, you might try puting the tape on the frontside.

Thanks guys. The official unveiling with the mustang folks in my home town won't be until I get my Roush side splitters and chin spoiler on. ...and axel back, if I can make up my mind in time.

It looks great man, so glad to see her back under the sun and on the road. I'm in your boat with exhaust too but I'll probably just save since I'm a college student... But again, she looks GREAT!
