Added a Boss intake. "I'm cheap." Does not compute.

But, those pieces are ridiculously expensive. Maybe fab up something?

Yeah because they're not even plastic, they're like foam. Smdh...

Haha, well I added the boss intake for the power it yields, if the fuel rail covers would net me another 10 hp I would buy them, but they won't.

I'm too cheap to spend $180 on 2 pieces of foam worth about $20 for them to sit on top of my motor and do nothing.

Plus that's $180 I could spend on my house I'm buying

The funny thing is, if you buy them seperately the one side costs twice as much as the other. They're almost identical.

Yup. I'm a total cheap *** but I have like $1300 of tires, $14/qt oil, etc but haven't replaced the $30 5.0 badges and $120 deck lid that I hate. Some of us are all about the go, not do much the show.

All my appearance mods I got for a steal. The boss fuel rail covers were uses from a member here, gt/cs fascia was a lightly damaged leftover from grabber, grille was on sale at am...

I like the appearance mods more right now. I'm happy with just being faster then a stock 5.0, I'll get more performance mods later. I'm almost done with my appearance mods. I've just got a few more things.

I finally was able to make the glue adhere to my grille. I had to scuff it up with sandpaper and then use some strips of plastic on the bottom side for strength. What do y'all think? Should I put this grille into service or scrap it and buy another?

I'm sure with the hood closed u won't be able to see the crack... Even when open, it buys u some time to get the grille u really want instead of leaving w/o

I'm gonna give it a shot. I'm still waiting on my Mishimoto radiator cover to come in so that'll tie it all together and hopefully draw attention away from my ghetto fix. Lol

Nah, man it's good. That's a hard fix because it wants to separate just sitting there. You could try some black paint on a Q-tip. Put some on, there kinda wipe it off while its wet, kinda like the Dr Colorchip method. You might need to do it a few times. But, it might work to blend the crack line into the rest of the grille. Hopefully, that made some kinda sense.

I figured I'd never have a reason to pull the paint off so I used a rattle can of rusoleum matte black. It's the same stuff I painted my CAI with. Thanks man!
