When you were replacing the rod I really hope you replaced with forged or diamond pistons and Rods so that you don't break again making power.

Procharger with 8 pounds making 600hp. Had problem with the meth kit which shot 2 gallons in at once.

Re: nitrous info.

Ouch, hydro baby. Well if any of the '13 owners freaking out about a few raindrops on their CAI, they should read this and see what it really takes to hydro a motor.

You see you can get built shortblocks for 2K now, right? about 4K for a LB.

I did love nitrus man, the clean, massive torque hit was hilarious. Plus, I got to kill the FI guys easy as soon as the air temps started to climb. I ran it for 8 seasons at the track. Filling bottles got old eventually though.

I like the look of the JMS kit for this car. Progressive controller, easy install, stealth.

I couldn't afford the repair. :/ so i had to give it up.

Re: nitrous info.

Gotta say though, if you couldn't afford the repair the first time and it forced you to sell your FI to get back on the road, maybe you should plan this next horsepower assault a little better. Save up a bit and do it once, the way you want it and leave something in the kitty for the inevitable breakdowns.

Me bending a manly forged rod was a unlikely thing to happen. I want twins so im saving for that but in the mean time having nitrous.

Re: nitrous info.

True but, dude, unlikely things happen. That's hot-rodding. Maybe use the 1300 bucks a basic nitrous kit'll cost to start a fund for twins. You likely won't bust anything and set yourself further back and you'll get to the turbos you want faster.
