Re: RTR Side badges??

Well, considering you can't buy them from RTR, that might not be a bad deal.

If you don't have an RTR then don't badge it as such.. $150 for badges is retarded. Especially considering you don't actually have an RTR.

Re: RTR Side badges??

An RTR is just bolt on stuff. If you install all the RTR mods, then you have an RTR. IMHO

I wouldn't badge it RTR if it isn't authentic... I just got the roush grill but kept it badgeless... I dunno its my opinion but enthusiasts on the street would give u a hard time on that

Well i just now won the bid on ebay for them. I paid $70 dollars for them. IMO that's a damn good deal considering no one can get them unless u buy a rtr. And i plan on doing the complete rtr bolt ons myself. I even found the vinyl kit online. But next are the rtr rim.

Badging or not, if you build the equivalent call it what you want. The true hardcore enthusiasts, I would hope, would respect the work put into the car more than what it says on the side. They are all Mustangs in the end and we own them for a reason. The badging just gives them a hint of what to expect. I do like the badgeless thought... then you got a sleeper to whoever you pull up against.

I also remember watching many Overhauln episodes where Chip Foose rebadged vehicles based on the engine. Just a sense of pride to what one has accomplished.
