^^ This is exactly right. In fact, have a look at this latest summer performance tire test that Tire Rack did, where the Pilot Super Sports are their "reference tire".

Tire Test Results : Testing Max Performance Summer Tires

I have them on my car, and they are fantastic summer tires! For winter, I use General G-Max AS03 tires, for what it's worth.

I have them. Rain not bad... I wouldn't use them in snow or below freezing though.

I'm in Houston and it rarely gets that cold in winter, so I drive them year round.

All thank you very much. I. Have been talking with multiple people as well as y'all. Yes I'm in Texas, and sounds like as long as there is no snow I should be ok. Maybe just take it a little easy during the winter. I just bought the 2013 5.0 with the ford 624 hp racing twin screw whippel supercharger kit, ford racing exhaust, ford racing short throw shifter, track pack, 3.73, gt premium, with the Michelin pilot super sport tires. Getting built right now. Will post pics when done!!

Is your dealer in installing the supercharger before you take delivery of your car? Not worried about your warranty? What is this ford racing short throw shifter? I've never heard of it.

They came on my old G35 6MT. Below 50 deg, they feel like hockey pucks. With greater than say 3/8" snow, traction was hard to come by....and that was w/ <300 hp.

My warranty is one hundred percent covered. Go to southwest ford in weatherford Texas. They got one already built on their web site. Or go to you tube and look up 2013 ford mustang 5.0 624 supercharger kit southwest ford. It Gould pop up. It's black with may black racing stripes!

I guess that is the first and only full warranty 624hp 2011+ mustang then, along with the first frpp short throw shifter kit??

It's probably the dealer warranty on the car as opposed to an actual ford warranty

---------- Post added at 05:05 AM ---------- Previous post was at 05:05 AM ----------

And I have yet to hear about an FRPP short throw... OP where did you get that?

I don't see how the dealer can warranty the the engine with that blower. If the engine fails they have to send the info directly to ford to get a new motor of the parts needed, unless they are just going to buy a new motor without telling ford hq? Which is probably not allowed. No such thing as a frpp short throw shifter.

If its a big enough dealer they will buy him a new motor and eat the cost, that's how dealer warranty works.

I do want to see a link to FRPP short throw though

I was just on the website the op told me to look at and ya they have one for sale, I don't know
Why but I doubt he is getting one judging by the random creation of the account to brag about
Stuff that doesn't exist. It also says on that website the mustang with the 624hp blower had a lifetime engine warranty which is complete bs.
