Too short... I have 3.73s and it runs out of gear real fast.... You have to constantly row as it is, I think offload x and tune are the best bang for buck out there. Those alone put you in the 11s

Re: 4.10s

If you don't mind shifting a lot and want beastly acceleration then go 4.10s

Or losing first gear, and roasting you tires in all gear lol

I mean like Napoleon said, depends on what you want, but for a DD and a mild track car not sure I would

Re: 4.10s

11 up trans has really short 1st gear in the manual, so 3.73 is best.

^ agreed, the only thing is that FRPP does not make 3.90's, and I've heard complaints from many a person of gear whining on EVERY brand on 95% of installs with the exception of FRPP. not saying the others aren't worth it, just be aware of who you have do the install

I have the boss manifold roush intake offroad x pipe and tune. Seeing as my rev limiter is to 7600 rpm i dont think the 4.10 will be to bad. And as for hitting 11s just x pipe and tune it all depends on elevation and what not. Even with the mods i listed above Id be lucky to break a 12.5. I dont really shift through the 3.73 to fast j have those now

Even at 7600 rpm redline, you MAY still run into the issue of having to shift to 5th before the end of the race unless you get%2

Yup, I've heard the same. 3.90s whine. I'll probably still get them...

I have the 4.10's and LOVE THEM, but I have the boss intake so any increased low end torque was needed but it will go fast quick....!

I have a 4.10 gear with a six speed, and avg 17.5 mpg city and highway. At the track my best time was 11.8 1/4 mile. Avg runs we're 12.1-12.3. On the street I love this gear, but at that track with my stock intake I was hanging out my tounge and redlining 4th crossing the finish line. Maybe a boss intake may help, but with a stock intake, a shorter gear IMO would be better.

Re: 4.10s

i went from 3.31's to 4.10's but i recommend the 4.10's , yeah its alot of shifting and alot of going fast....the boss intake makes it really cool , the rev limiter is around 7500 so 1st gear really isnt a waste and i drive mine strictly street and i never get beat on low end, i need to take it to the track some day, i would like some numbers to see how it goea?

Re: 4.10s

I have 410's in my 2011 GT and love them. Acceleration is very strong, but the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts come up really fast. My rev limiter kicks in at 7700 with the new Boss 302 tune.
Of course my car is not a daily driver, so it is easy for me to like them. I did just finish a 2600 mile cruise (Milwaukee to Myrtle Beach, SC and back) in my car and still got 22+mpg.
