What? Ford doesn't sell or have a sct device or sct tune.

thats cause half the mustangs are parked that time of year. with a safe tune made to be driven in all conditions and for all uses it doesn't matter what season it is. but everyone knows that lund tunes are the most aggressive tunes and have had the most engine failures to date and the reason for that isn't because he isn't a good tuner its because he tunes for the fastest quarter mile times and thats it.

Get a procal then. It's hardly even a 'tune' and retains warranty

Even With a Shelby you will still want more traction and more power and there will still be someone faster, it's a vicious cycle!

What? Ford doesn't sell or have a sct device or sct tune.

Check out this site. Ford does offer a mild tune and is suppose to be warranty approved.

Like I said ford doesn't sell a sct device or a sct tune. That is a ford racing procal device and a procal tune.

If you want a good tune go to a shop that has a good reputation and do a Dyno tune that's where your gonna see your best tunes. Typically speaking download tunes are typically the safest I know some are aggressive but for the most part they are "safe tunes"

Anything that pushes a car past the factory limit that the company designed it for, could cause problems. Its a chance you take. Luckily its not that common.

Yeah I know pushing it past factory limits no matter what you do is taking a risk no matter where the tune came from. That's why I'd your serious about making more power do it right and do a full engine build with parts you know will handle it. Hell even then stuff is gonna break just remember if you wanna go fast you gotta pay that price and expect things to break no matter what you do

actually a dyno tune is safer. a email tune is just a canned version a shop created to work in all cars. but every car is different and the tune reacts different to different cars and climates. a dyno tuner can tailor the tune to your specific car and conditions and preferences alot better than a email tuner can by asking generic questions in an email.

I'd venture to say that in an enthusiast community, more people that not garage their cars for the winter if they have bad weather in their area. It gets downright nasty up here in Ohio, I wouldn't WANT to drive my mustang in the winter.

Fortunately, we do not get much snow in Virginia, and when we do, I can work from home.

-40? That's the ambient temp when it gets cold here in nd. The air force lets us stay home when the temp gets too -60 with windchill by then most cars won't start
