Anyone install a "big brake kit" themselves on a 2011 + GT?

So I bought a brake upgrade for the stock fronts.

All the instructions look very straight forward and easy...

Except bleeding. Vague in the instructions.

As long as the reservoir doesn't get low while bleeding, it should be a bid deal right?

The instructions say to loosen the bleed screws until no more air comes out, then move to the next bleed screw... Do both sides, then tap calipers with a mallet, and repeat. Again not letting the brake fluid reservoir empty.

I've seen online some hand pump bleeding kits, but I assume that is for a certified tech when there is no fluid in the reservoir.

Any thoughts?

I also have the steeda 13" upgrade for the rear... Bit since you have to open the diff housing and pull axles, I'll let a shop do those.

I just like doing as much as I can myself (to learn and to know it was done right).

When we swapped brakes on my buddy's '04 Mach1 we "bled" the brakes by just opening the bleed screws a bit for a sec then closing them. Then we slowly test drove it after we felt pressure in the brake pedal. It was sloshy at first but the brakes worked the air out and became firm within about 30 mins.

Same thing when I changed brakes in my '02 GT.
