What to do with stock exhaust?

Why would anyone want to buy a stock exhaust? Should I keep it? I really hate keeping things, I'm the opposite of a hoarder :/

eBay or CL with buyer paying shipping costs. You may sit on it for a bit but they are your best shot at moving it and recouping some $$$.

Yeah post it on Craigs list. Some people out there will buy it just for the metal itself. The piping is a common size so some people may use it for patching or extending their own pipes on any model, the mufflers could be used i mean don't charge an arm and a leg for it but for a full exhaust i would say you could get 50 bucks for it. What did you replace

yeah somebody with an old hunk of junk will come there and take them off your hands for 50 bucks because its cheaper then buying it from the store and they will cobble it to install it...and if it doesn't sell in a month donate it to a metals shop or something

Re: What to do with stock exhaust?

Good luck. I tried on Craig's List and had no luck ... finally gave them away to someone. Trying to see the stock Brembo Package rims now, too ... no luck there either.

I say keep them if you think your going to get another car in the next 3-4 years. You get more money selling after market than stock.

Re: What to do with stock exhaust?

They're basically worthless, just keep them in case you want to sell the car or trade it in. Most dealerships, and a lot of private parties, are leery of aftermarket parts.

Re: What to do with stock exhaust?

Keep everything. 3 reasons: First of all, you never know when the "law is going to be an ***" and force you to restore something to the way it was. Second, if the next owner of your car gets a carefully packaged bunch of stock parts, it makes them feel cared about and helps the usually difficult sale of a modified vehicle. Third, you could make some money at trade in/sale time by stocking out and selling the parts on here and elsewhere. There is a market for this stuff
