I would go with the dual tips magnaflows. Cyclon37 has them on his and they look awesome. Otherwise I say roush is a less expensive version of the atak. I know there's plenty or people the loooooove borla lol but I could spend half as much and be able to buy another mod of too.

Go with the Magna Flow Comp. I have them on my car, and I get some many compliments on the way it sounds, it can get really loud when really getting on the gas!!

I have the Corsa... Awesome. I got the the sport... Wish I had bought the extreme though. The sport is loud when you get on it, but I had to be considerate to neighbors as this is my DD.

No it's not. Roush is mediocre. Not too impressed with them overall. I put on the borla s type cat backs and it was worth all 1200$ of it. I've heard almost every kind of exhaust on a 5.0 where I am and none of them are as loud as the s type. Haven't heard a atak one yet though.

Roush is best axleback. To get it to sound even better you need all the catback and that stuff. I wouldn't spend that much.

Borla tips stick out to far and are way over priced. GT 500 with X pipe or Roush. Have Roush and I get tons of complements. I want Stainless Steal Works. Roush are built very very well

Re: Exhaust help?

My vote is for Borla S Type or even Borla ATAK.

I put Borla S Type on my Mustang at 300 miles. Now with over 9000 miles later the sound is still awesome. The inside cabin sound at low rpm’s is a touch loader then stock. You can carry on a conversation easily without having to talk load. With light to mild acceleration from 2000 – 4000 rpm’s exhaust is loader and sounds like a true 5.0. Under heavy acceleration is where the sound really comes alive. The loudest and best sound is around 4000 rpm’s and above. When I think of a V8 Mustang and how the exhaust should sound Borla is where it’s at. I’m glad I spent the extra money and got (in my opinion) the best sounding exhaust you can put on a Mustang.

Roushes axe backs are what? Around
600? If I were to get Roushes it would be the square tip one with the rear fascia so for and extra 600 you get a full system which isn't bad... I plan on getting the borla or kooks headers eventually and with the borlas s type you get piping that's 2.75 inches going to the cats.

Ya but still that's just axle backs. They are nowhere near as loud as borlas or even flow as much. Axle backs to me are a waste if that's all you want to do for your exhaust power to you but I think
For another 900 dollars can get a full system with more flow better fuel mileage and over better sound. Don't need any extra pipes for when getting headers and a x pipe

Yes they are nearly as loud as Borla, they're one of the loudest ones. And Borla axlebacks go for at least $700+. If you want sound just stick with axleback. Full exhaust is good for HP and flow, but if you get a wrong combination the exhaust might not sound good.

I've heard both in person. Videos don't do justice. Had mine beside a roush one and revved it up just once the guy with the roush switch to borla s the next day because they really were that much louder. I was set on roushes for awhile but after I heard both in person couldn't beat the borlas

If your willing to spend $760 on an axleback, go for it. But i've compared the roush to others i've heard in person and theres nothing else like it.

Another thing you have to do is look long term. Yes axle backs are cool now by is that really goin to be the only exhaust mod you do. Roush will give you good tonal quality and still leave you 300 bucks in your pocket to go for that x pipe or maybe your long tubes with a tune. I have roush axle acme with long tube headers and high flow Catted x pipe and if you like raspy and u want the x pipe raspyness then go with a roush. If you want throaty go with aclebacks that compliment that and get an afternarket h pipe. No offense but planning for the future with the mods you do today will help make sure you aren't swapping mods for mods like you change your socks. I will tell you that borla most expensive, gt500 cheapest, roush hundred bucks more then the gt500. I have the complete rear valence with the square tips so check those out in my garage. Overall I got lucky because I went that route the rear valence complimented the square tips.

Re: Exhaust help?

I wish I was all car-talk savvy so I could talk about my exhaust. I have no idea how to explain what the guy did, except that he took those suitcases off the back, ran pipe to the tail and put larger straight cut tips on. Sounds amazing! It's loud loud, but has the same basic tone as stock.

I think what you're referring to would be muffler deletes! Haven't heard them on the 5.0 but hear its awesome

I heard them, remember the blue stang that came with me to the AM show? He had deletes and no major exhaust mods yet, u probably didn't get to hear them but next to my borla axle backs at idle the deletes are louder, but when stepping on it, that's when the Borla gets louder... I guess that's how it works with axlebacks, are WOT the valves open up and chambered the way they are gives the throaty growl. Whenever I go to car shows next to a bunch of modern 5.0s ppl think I have a full exhaust or a more complex setup, but its only axlebacks. I don't regret spending the extra $$ even tho I got em for a steal, I get tons of compliments

Everyone has there favorite exhaust !! We can go on for ever! Like me!!!! I've started of with the Roush axle back! I loved them!! But than heard the Magna Flow Comp Series, and I love the sound. So i installed the cat backs!! Alot more complements on the Magna Flow than the Roush. Really nice low tones at ideal and low RPM's but get on it and damn I haven't heard anything that's even close!!

Look forward to meeting you in on of the KC shows. I have the Roush axel back so we could sit side-by-side for comparison. That be a good YouTube video we could post. I almost went with the comps from Magnaflow.
