A projected pony shows up on the ground on sale for 85 bucks. Cool or ricey?

Thats pretty good for 85. There is another thread about this same feature goes into the door. But they want 139 or 149.

I think it's silly, but it would be cool to have at a car show. If you can see it in the day time.

I'd wire a switch to it so I can disable it when I'm not trying to show off.

Maybe displayed from the hood or something to display in front of the car. Instead of having the door open.

Yeah it is the same site as the other thread you are talking about. Just running a sale right now and the site is also a club sponsor.

Thanks for the inputs do far. I am brainstorming on where to mount it to if I projected it off the front and I do enter my car in a lot of people's choice car shows so slightly cheesy isn't a horrible idea. I think the projection is tasteful

Projecting it off the front would be cool, or maybe............project it up into the sky like the Bat signal, but instead of for Batman, it would be for the Mustangman!

Kinda joking there, but front projection would be pretty neat.

Yeah it wouldn't be a bad idea projecting from the front but it'd have to be pointed at an angle and I'm not sure how that would appear on the ground. Reason for an angle is because of how low my car sits.

My thought is at a show it's natural to have your hood up not your door open. So to have it light up from the front would be cool. Have an on off switch. IDK. Maybe somewhere near the outside thermostat.

Re: Yay or nay

How about placing it in your engine bay, and have it project on to the bottom side of the hood when you open it up?

most shows are done during the daytime, except local meats and stuff. but personally i think its not to bad of an idea. i like the under the hood and in front of car suggestions so far.

I like that idea a lot! And... You could mount the other one inside your trunk to light up the floor of your trunk. Wire it to your trunk light so it comes on automatically.

You might want to pull out your trunk bulb so to increase the effect of the puddle light.

I like the trunk idea but I think the under good idea may go unnoticed since I don't raise my hood much at night

I like the idea of this on the underside of the hood for car shows, etc. Maybe it could modified so it could be seen in the daylight. Ford Racing, and other mustang emblems would be cool.

I think I like the lighted door sill emblem rather than something projecting on the ground when you open the car door. Seems like that might be more for the owners. I keep my doors closed at car shows.
