2012 GT Clutch Issues

Ok. Has there been any sure fire way to fix the issues with clutch pedal sticking on these cars? If I'm in 1st/2nd WOT most of the time I can't even shift into third. It was so bad yesterday that I was stuck at a stop sign for 45 seconds till the pedal came off the floor and I could get it back into gear.

Dealer has not be able to replicate the issue as of yet. When the mechanic drives it he doesn't take it over 6k rpm.

What is the TSB? And what does it do?

if im not mistaken they are supposed to do that on the new mustangs. Some new technology that assists in changing gears quicker. at least mine does it when i start shifting quickly. the clutch will be like a inch from the floor, resulting in less time taken to change gears. it took me awhile to get used to it.

at least i like to think its supposed to do that. it helps me, and i find it pretty cool

I have a 2012 gt with the same issue. If I'm getting on it hard the clutch pedal seems to stick and almost always cant get into third gear. Only does this if I'm running in the upper rpms though and only through the first three gears. I haven't noticed it doing it above third.

Thats the exact problem I have. It's definitely not working as intended. It's lot for faster shifting either. You can't get the car into gear when it does it.

Yep, sometimes it take me several tries to even get into third gear. There have even been times I couldn't get into third at all. I'm dropping mine off for service next week this is the third time for tranny issues. This is a completely different issue than I had before. They have corrected everything else so I'm pretty sure this will be fixed as well. I'll follow up after I get details.

Guys stop making stuff up. The mt82 is perfect and has no problems.

In all seriousness though, it Sounds like the pressure plate bolts backing out ... There was a tsb for this on the job1 2011s, but I was under the impression they fixed it in the job2 and 11-12 cars.

I've read elsewhere the only surefire way to fix it is to change to the GT500 clutch pedal assembly. Wish I could get a confirmation.
