I living in AZ just had my car tuned and was really not pleased with the real #'S VS the internet HP #'s. I had my car tuned in a hot arse building. I will take it thes week to an A/C controlled Dyno building and post the differences.

1. 2011 5.0 standard
2. Rousch axle back, Sounded great with stock exhaust in front
3. JBA X pipe with cat del, Very loud some people Will not like it.
4. Air raid filter
5. Boss 302 intake
6. SCT Dyno tuned by AMP

Temp outside 108.06
Humidity 26%

Max HP 374.40
Max TQ 346.15

People forget that there is a huge variation dyno to dyno and there also are real HP numbers and corrected and sae j11 corrections etc. I've made as much as 343/356 and as little as 277/290.

I know it will go 13.4 at 109 with a 2.9 60' (track conditions were bad and bad tires) @ 5300 ft in 97° weather (122° track temp) 21% realitive humidity.

If you're a good driver you should be 1.8-1.9 60ft, ~118 mph @ ~11.8-12.0. Depends greatly on DA as well

Nice to see some fellow Arizona people on here for once. I'm in Glendale. Don't know my hp, recently got my 2012 back from AMP. Had them do them the magnum xl swap. It was money worth spending. I have no engine bolt ons or tunes, yet I was able to trash that stock transmision. Drive it like I stole it, CHECK!

Any gear that has a ratio of less than 1:1 is an overdrive gear, there is only one overdrive gear on the MT82 and that is 6th gear. Also using anything more than 1:1 will show lower dyno numbers

Whipple sc 9 psi and this tune is conservative for when I go through the mountains and the air gets a little thin

They should be able to correct for gearing differences easily.

Yes they should be able to correct for gearing but if they're assuming that the wrong gear is the correct gear then there would (in their minds) be nothing to correct for

So of they type in the wrong gear info in the dyno your numbers will be wak? What about O.D tire size? Sorry just wondering.

Not a dyno expert by any means, but I'm pretty sure there is no "entering" of gears into the computer, but the numbers the dyno shows for power will be different because of how the dyno measures the power vs the wheel speed. Again, not a dyno expert so I'm not sure exactly how these things measure.

What does "O.D" means when it comes to tire size?

No gears has everything to do with a dyno. A 4th gear pull will differ from a 5th gear pull, a 2.73 car will make more than a 4.30 rear axle geared car.

I agree so u are right you can't enter the gears into a computer to compensate. With the mt 82 5th gear is ur dyno gear and with the t56 the dyno gear is 4th. When it comes to 410s you will hide some of ur hp on the dyno. It hoist happens and there isn't any way to judge how much was lost. Thr goal is to get as close to a 1:1 ratio between fly wheel turns and drive shaft turns. Whichever gear that is will be the dyno gear.

Max TQ 346.15
Well I took her to AZ Dyno and the weather today was 86.72 and Humidity at 54%. Same Tune as the other day just different dyno and weather conditions. I was looking at some other cars and the tech showed me some problems in my tune.
1st is the drop in Power at 6500 rpm. He told me this was caused by a Very rich condition and a lack of timing at 6500.
2nd is I need to find the difference in weather Temps and how 108.06 to 86.72 degs affects things.
Another problem is he has a lot of other cars with the very same mods doing 440 to 457 at the wheels. He also pointed out this was all over 6000rpm as well.
And on a side note the weather here will be a Lot cooler come Nov. 15th. I guess I'll have them retune it then. That is if it is safe to run the way it is. Here is the paperwork.

This is massive. Badass ride! Looks like a GT, did you need any work on the internals? You're about 680 at the crank there, pushing what I thought was possible for the gt motor.

I ask because, while I'm a year or so out, I want to break 600 (crank)
