TVS2300 on its way!!!

Well, in talking with Roush I finally pulled the trigger on the TVS2300. Wife gave me the green light so boy did I floor it!!! Hopefully gets shipped this Friday and should arrive at my local dealer in a few days. Talked with the guys for a bit and convinced me from the 575 to the 625 kit. The open CAI allows for the greater gains with the forced induction. Also, for anyone who's been dealing with their '13s leaking water into their CAIs, Roush assured me that they've taken the time to manufacture this box to eliminate that issue and spent a lot of time making sure it was right.

$1,500 for install. Crazy, I'd like to do it myself but then I lose the 3 Year/36,000 Mile Parts warranty included (ROUSH Supplied Parts Only). In talking with Roush, I don't need an upgraded clutch. However, at 50,000 miles my maintenance program replaces the clutch so I will supply the clutch and pressure plate I want used. And the same will go at 100,000 miles.

Going stock. Figure if something goes before I get to it I'll replace with the Aluminator. Otherwise I'll get into it an make some changes. Talking to Roush they have a 2011 stock car they've been running pushing 600 RWHP without any problems.

Still need BMR suspension upgrade and Baer brake upgrade. Then the plan is to upgrade internals if I don't push this setup too hard. So gotta let this purchase settle with the wife.

Very cool man that will be fun for sure. I just did Baer brakes on my car and so far so good. They have funny break in rules so I've yet to really stomp on them.

Getting itchy!!! Tomorrow is the big day for the transformation of my pony. Been running it hard today just to gain a remembrance of the past. Plus need to attach the GoPro for some before/after shots and sounds. From what Roush told me is my car will no longer sound like the same animal.

1500$ for the install is really a ripoff, my ford dealer did it for 850$

I already have the 575hp kit with the Roush tune but the tune was so mild that i replaced it with a VMP tune.

I'm very interested to know how the tune feels for the 625kit AND how does the tvs sound with the addition of the new Roush cai...

Awaiting details and more details...

And pics of the cai of course...

Hmm, did seem a bit high but I know these guys and they do exceptional work. If you don't mind me asking, which Ford dealer do you work with?

Once I get it back either today or tomorrow I'll post my opinions and pics.

Mine was 440 Ford in Laval, Qc.

Total price including labour & 15% tax + Roush boost gauge for the 540 kit was 7500$. I did upgrade to the 575kit for 350$ afterwards.

The 625kit is a bit more expensive due to the cai but you loose the warranty.
