If your doing long tubes it's best to the whole
Exhaust. Gains are around 20 to 40 hp when done. I only have a cat back but will be getting long tubes

Re: Is it worth it??

Not just B/C I got O/R X in the for sale section but it is a 15-20 RWHP increase. The stock manifolds are really about like a shorty header you got already.Putting headers on is involved and pricey. The O/R X is a DYI project.I do recommend getting over axle pipes and Borla S type or Roush if you want good sound. If you go with O/R X you may want to go GT500 axlebacks. With roush or borla it will be race car loud among others as well. Not sure what your goals are.Alot depends on goals and how deep the pockets are.JMHO

Kooks complete system will be pretty loud. Whenever getting a x pipe it will enhance the sound by a lot.

If I could do it again and I had the money, the complete kooks system is the best bang for your buck. Top knotch quality and impressive power gains. I have heard the complete system on a boss and it sounded phenominal.

Yes a tune will make a huge difference.

As far as tuner, there are some that are very high performance (Lund, evolution, etc). But they seemed to be geared towards heavy track use and long term ramifications have not been determined.

Bama seems to be a very safe tune (even their 93race tune).

That's what I run.

Re: Is it worth it??

Depends on what your doing with the car. Just to say you have Long Tubes is pretty cool BUT for the money and Loud noise it might be something to pass on. Go listen to somebody with a x-pipe and cat delete and you'll either Love or hate the sound.

In florida you dont test for any of that, so catless is the way i want to go.
