if you are going with a built motor might as well go for the 1000 mark and not waste your time at 800
Does anyone else think its absolutely hilarious to add the equivalent displacement of a 2010 v6 to a car that came out of the gates with over 400 hp. These are good times!

Yea, after i get my SC i will probably not drive my car any faster than i already do everyday. Only at the track will i see it been worth it but w/e it makes you feel good to know your car has double the horsepower and have the mpg

Yeah that sc is absolutely huge that plus the 5.0 makes your displace a 9.0

Yeah honestly your mpg doesn't suffer as much as you think it would. I still managed 23.5 mpg doing 80 mph with 3.73s

Not on it's own. Before blower I was 418/383 with steeda cai, stainless works 1 7/8 lt's w/offroad x, and Magna catback w/ a 93 tune from evo/Lund. I have no base dyno either.

the vid was done for my base sc dyno run, we did some fine adjustments and the refined numbers are the final outcome

Good numbers!!!!
Do u get wheel spin when rolling from 40 mph or from a stop, or does it behave the same but just faster.
Is it harder/ funner to drive than before?

she will spin at 40 and she will spin at stop but if i take off normal and easy she is has very good street manners. Since i worked the rear suspension she is also very predictable when i break it loose going around corners. Once you spend some time behind the wheel you know exactly how much throttle it takes to break loose and its a blast to drive. A friend of mine has an 07 GT, him and I were driving side by side up a hill the other day and as soon as i heard him downshift to fourth so i opened the throttle in the bottom of 5th and still walked away from him. The thing i recommend is wider rubber, when i went to 285 nitto555 on the rear i managed to get a lot more hook up and it was something i noticed right away.

I'm not the expert on that. I went 10.5 wide rims on 285s

Bosses have 285's on 9.5" wheels, I'm running 275's on my 9" wheels without issue

---------- Post added at 01:07 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:03 PM ----------

Every inch is about 2.5 cm, and the tire width is in mm, so about 25mm per inch. So if you multiply 25mmx10in, the wheel itself is about 250mm. Now the tread pattern usually wider than the wheel, not sure what the percentage of overhang should be but I would guess that almost and inch on either side is fine, but the wheel may start to act a little funny much over that. Ford engineers have deemed a 9" wheel perfect for 255's and again I'm running 275's, can't imagine another 5mm per side would hurt anything
