What's up guys, I want to do the install for the boss intake man. Do I need to tune the car if I do it? If I don't need a tue will it effect anything? And if I do need a tune what tune do u guys recommend mods are just an axle back. Thanks in advance for the help fellas. 👍

Custom tunin is required, any number of tuners will be able to tune for this, top tuner IMO are aed, Steeda, bama, C&L (combination of power, reliability, and safe tune), but we could debate forever on which is best which is safest which is most power who has blown most motors... Etc etc etc etc etc...... For DAYS.

Deepblue,

Great choice, the Boss Manifold is definitely a great way to pick up some really impressive power. With this set up on our 11' GT project car we saw gains of 60+RWHP up top!

In order to run this Manifold you do need a custom tune. I would recommend going with our Bama SF3 Custom Tuner! For every Bama Tune we ask you 19 questions about your specific Mustang, including your unique mods and style of driving. This info helps us write custom tunes from the ground-up for your Mustang's mods that will give you the most horsepower that we can safely deliver. We're also constantly developing our tunes! Between our 14 different Project Mustangs and tons of street/track and dyno testing (on our in-house Dynojet 224xLC), we're looking for any minor tweaks to be made that can benefit you guys. We're also part of Fords Technology Transfer Program & Work very closely with Ford to insure that all of our tunes are perfect!

Another great benefit to ordering with Bama is our Free Tunes For Life Program. Anytime you add a new modification all you have to do is hit us up and will email you a revision file within just a few hours!

-Dan
