Got one key when I bought my 2011, need to run something by you guys

So the dealership I bought my car from waited until I had driven three hours to tell me it came with one key. Last week I ordered a flip key off Ebay and it came in today and I do have that working to lock and unlock the car. Now to get it programmed to start the car. Walmart says our keys are now in the database and do not need anything else except the VIN to make a KEY, JUST a key to start the vehicle. It's 59 bucks and can be done in 5 minutes. With my original key I got with the car, and then with this second Walmart key being able to start my car, will I be able to program the 3rd (the Ebay flipkey) transponder?

If they program the transponder on the walmart key? Yes you will be able to program your flip key yourself. You need two working keys to program another key. If I'm not mistaken! You can only program a maximum of 4-5 keys for your vehicle yourself. If you look in your owners manual it will tell you how to program a key.

I bought a flip key off of eBay too. Nobody would cut the key for me because it was in the flip case. So I knocked out the small pin that holds the key and took it to Ace and the guy cut it for free.

I'd be pretty mad if it just came with one key, especially being a new car. That's why you buy new, be first one to put your butt in the seat, first to top it out. Firsts for lot of things.. But it is what it is I guess
