Deep Impact Blue Matte Wrap?

Hello everyone!

I just purchased my Deep Impact Blue 2013 GT and would love to wrap the car up as to avoid scratches and keeping the paint in great condition, I was wondering if anyone new somewhere that could color match a warp to your car? I was thinking matte deep impact blue would be really nice. I looked online and nothing..

I don't think it'll be worth it. I've seen a mustang wrapped in Matte Black I think he spent about $2,500 to get it done.

You can always go the plasti-dip route haha. Just mix the blue and black until you get the shade you're looking for.

Plasti-dip is gaining a surprising amount of popularity due to the low cost compared to other options, how easy it is to repair nicks and tears, as well as how easy it is to go back to your original paint color (just peels right off). I was skeptical about it until my buddy did his VW Tiguan in Blaze Blue. Almost looks like a matte Grabber Blue haha.

I am planning on having a clear bra installed when mine finally arrives from the factory. The Deep Impact Blue is too awesome to cover up with another color.

That's why you'd have to mix the blue and black plasti-dips to get that Deep Impact Blue shade. It might take some trial and error though. Just another option to look at if you can't find a vinyl wrap that is Deep Impact Blue.

I think it would end up Matte Impact Blue and not so deep
It's an interesting concept and and very curious how it would look.

I would recommend clear braing your whole front of your stang... Hood, fenders and bumper.. I see guys doing clear bra and it only covers half of the hood and you can see the line where the bra ends... Its pricer but it looks better when its all coverd

You guys seriously need help....or a girlfriend.

I never really looked at the clear bra as I've never liked the visible line where it ends, and have seen a couple of older cars where the paint faded differently--looked terrible.

I say just take your car to a paint shop and strip your paint off completely, then spray paint it with can blue paint. That way you dont have to worry about chips and it will look bad ***..

matte black on a blacked out car is awesome but any other color couldnt pull it off. just my opinion. Rock the DIB as it is.

I have actually been looking at doing this with my stang. Take the whole front off, plasti dip the front fasica white/green/yellow then the bumper black, then the grill same color as the fasica, then the whole rest of the car matte black, maybe color the wheels same color as grill/fasica.

I LOVE the mustang in matte black, would be nice to be able to go back to red though anytime I get sick of it. Also never seen anyone with a matte colored mustang of any color in my city, and I have been to some of the bigger mustang shows.

Most solid color wraps are around 2k to 4k with install to paint a whole car is at least 5k with labour.
