Best way to tint fog light on 13

I have tint and I tried to cut it and apply it to my fog lights with not much luck. The fog light is so round it makes it hard for the tint to lay on it without massive bubbles. What am I doing wrong?

Nit quite sure there is a way to remove them without removing the fascia and then removing the entire housing they are in

Yes, I had to remove the bump/fascia just to get fog covers in there.
