Very nice! It looks cool with the doors up, and nice work. I have to admit, it would a lot easier to get my fat A outta the car with doors like that.

Man it looks so sweet I keep coming back and looking at this thread. I have a shop in my area that installs Lambo doors for $1600 I'm saving up for it. I was told that it would look sweet since I drive a conv.

I personally couldn't do it, because it doesn't flow right to me.
BUT, I think it looks fantastic, and people should do what they want.

I, on cars that get redone, prefer the double helix Koenigsegg doors, myself. The only reason I wouldn't do it, at the end f the day, is price.

People think I am insulting, but in my taste, rims should be simple with a little shine, and everything should be nice and clean. But your doors look great. i love the color, too. Had I not saved 1250 getting a 12 instead of 13, I would go grey rather than black. Good looking ride, friend.

i looked into the helix doors but sthing about parking 16" from a curb didnt sit right with me. Totally defeats the purpose of being able to park close to objects. Im glad I went with the ones I got. Their great for drawing attention, and a great way to start a conversation with complete strangers.

That is pretty far. No hate on your system, it looks good. Where the double helix kits also on that site?

LOL the curb part never worried me, it is the people that park right next too you. lol.

sadly where I live, people will park that close, and is the main reason I always park WAY out in the parking lot. Always that one guy that has to park next to me though.

I parked way out to only come back to my car with a woman in a truck hooked on my front fender with her rear tire well.

I'm on mobile app and didn't feel like searching lol did you buy & install the kit or did you make it? If so how much do you think it'd cost to do that to an 05 mustang V6 if there's any difference.

srry so late on the reply. The kits were 850.00, i guess they just bumped them up another 50 bucks. I installed minez myself, but the rumour is around 1600 bucks to install at a shop. They make kits for the 05-09 models as well. Anymore questions just PM me. Im sure people are tired of seeing the same thread at the top everytime they log in lol..

I am curious if you have the mod done yet? How is the seal/wind noise going down the road as compared to factory? I love the mod, great job.

friend did this to his 2011 the doors REALLY started to rub on the door jams really bad, looks horrible with touch up paint that he used, fyi keep a close eye on that sagging as it will happen sooner than later and adjust as needed.
