Granted I'm 5'6" 150lbs, if I want my 5.0 loud I just shimmy under the back and remove the flow master 40s. Just my two cents and I don't mind getting down and dirty.

* btw I went about 6k miles on my 5.0 with no mufflers and no mods. Never had a light come on or felt anything like a loss of power although everyone and there mom always wanted race. I do have mufflers back on the car 90 percent of the time now though.

cut outs plus the Y flange run around $200 a piece. I had a lil jap car , now im waiting for Ford to deliver my 2013 gt, and that sucks if we loose power on the low rpm without back pressure

Yeah it does, but I didnt really see a big difference, plus with the power you'll be making you'll feel it even less. What brand are you going with?

Just looked on Jegs, they do have them now that go up to 2.5", but they are cast iron...so getting someone that can weld them in will be a challenge.

QTP Oval Electric Exhaust Cutouts. Just an example , they go as big as 3" no cast iron and also different shapes

Ok how about this , can someone confirm if th boss 302 exhaust will fit on a gt , if thats the case we can just buy an h pipe from kooks (https://www.google.com/search?q=kook...u0fgDlvib5cvM:) for the 302 and trow the electronic cut out after it , no welding needed i think its a great idea if the 302 and reg gt share the same configuration, but quite expensive

The OEM Boss 302 H-pipe bolts right up, the one from google searches is specific to Kooks aftermarket headers I believe.
