Exhaust cutout??

I asked a couple of times but never got a good informative answer.what do you guys think of exhaust cutouts like qtp for example?? Does the mustang needs backpressure at all or does it perform better (truout the whole rpm band )with open headers?.
I had an exhaust cutout of my previous car and it was fantastic im like a cop magnet so this will be more stealth than getting a whole exhaust system

i would get the long tubes also. i would put the qtps right before the bend on the mid pipes so the exhaust will have a straight shot out when open.

I had a QTP e-cutout on my WS6. It died after about 3 months. I won't buy another one.

Thanks. Yea it was lowered with L.G. Motorsports G2 springs, roughly 2" and rode pretty rough. Those are 17x9.5 and 11" Gunmetal ZR1s.

My fav of the maro's and t/a's was the 82-92 body styles, but those t/a ws6's were the best looking of that generation. I had an 84 z back in the day.

I was thinking of cutouts as well. Its nice sometimes to have a quiet car and ridiculously loud when you want. It comes out pretty expensive though after the two cutouts welding and time.

If you don't mind crawling under the car you can always just buy the regular old cutouts with the plates and wing nuts. Chances are you'll leave them open all the time anyway, I'd save a couple hundred bucks and get the manual ones.

I think I'd prolly go for those, if I was in the market. I'm not too cool to do cable.

I have too many projects going on right now, but the thought of silencing my exhaust while leaving work early sounds too sweet.. I just got my quarter window louvres in today prepainted and the damn paint is lighter than my car. I dont know how that got screwed up? Damn mrbodykit.com!!!
