Short headers for gt?

Does any company make them because I have a guy who wants to sell me short tube headers but I can't find any on the Internet so i don't know if they are for the 13 gt. He said they are ford? And they came off of a 2011 gt. He also has a 3 inch x pipe, can I use that with stock over axle pipes?

I don't think they changed the headers between the 11'-13' year. So if they are stock take offs you already have them.

No you cannot use that x pipe.

Resonator pipes are 2.75" and you would need a modular x pipe or replace the resonator pipes too 3" pipes. You either need this to be modular or replace your axle backs too with ones that are 3"

He said they are aftermarket lol he has me confused... I might just get the x pipe it's magnaflow and has the cats with it. So if I get the resonators cut out and they weld in pipe it will fit?

Correct me if I'm wrong!.. But don't all new 5.0 come from the factory with the "Tri-Y Header" set up?.. And if so, then wouldn't short tube header, or any type of header minus LTs, be a complete wast of time and money?..

They are going to have to have modular piping. Or make it a real hack job.

The stock headers will flow as good as any shorty you get. Don't waste your money.

Yes, the connectors are 2.75" the pipe increases to 3" then drop back to 2.75" just before the OTA pipes, unless he bought the entire 3" system.

All you have to do is look at the ends where it bolts into your stock exhaust and see if it is smaller at the ends than the rest of the midpipe

You should be just fine. Jump on it if it's a steal of a price.
