4 door Mustang

Does anyone know if Ford is thinking of producing a 4 door Mustang?

If it had 4 doors, it wouldn't be a Mustang any more.

Ok thanks. Yeah I saw the pics on the internet but nothing posted on Ford's websites. I agree a 4 door Mustang is not a good idea.

Those "pics" were probably April Fool's drawings from a magazine a couple of years ago.

That was April fools, if they do the 4 door it would be the fairmont or something else with the 5.0, I think Australia already has it

2 door fusion would be cool. But a 4 door mustang? Nah, I'll pass. If I wanted a 4 door then I obviously want more room. the mustang is already a large car and you don't get a whole ton of interior room for that size.

A mustang is a muscle car... Not a family sedan... There are some things that should never be touched, just like how porsche brought out an SUV and SEDAN.. I dont care how fast they are a porsche will alway be a carrera and mustang will alway be a mustang

I like how aston did a hidden back door and just extended the car a little. Might be a nice idea.

No, the Mustang is the only purebred muscle car left, they shouldn't ruin it.

The only muscle car that hasn't quit in production or hasnt been turned into a front wheel drive at some point. There has been a rearwheel Mustang every single year since 64. The same can't be said for Comaros, Challengers, Chargers, Monte Carlos, TransAms, etc.

eh ford still made changes that would go against the muscle car aspect lol. gotta go with the times that's how the mustang has survived this long

The Mustang has survived because Ford didn't want the muscle cars to disappear. If it wasn't for the Mustang, there would be no muscle car

In my personal opinion, I think Ford wants a FR coupe, and does its' best to make their beat product-right now.

There are lost years, and sad years, but they would not let it die. I do not believe they are the only, I believe Datsun has always had something out, but maybe not, I do not know for certain. Other than the vette, I do not know of any FR that has been around as long, talking solely about cars.

I do believe there are many years that the Mustang was not the best on the market, and or even that great. Those years make me think that at certain points, the Mustang was just a check mark in a segment, rather than a passion or even a care.

The vett doesn't count, its a sports car, not a sports coupe. The Mustang is the only purebreed left of the muscle cars.
