Spoiler???

I'm getting a spoiler next month and just wanted to know what you guys think of the rtr and shelby spoiler? I like both just don't know what one I should get... Anyone have either of them ?

I have the shelby gt500 spoiler from American Muscle... Excellent product and it was color matched perfectly by them... I do warn you though, getting the stick spoiler off is a c*nt... Just be patient

Can u get a gt500 spoiler with backup camera i want a new spoiler but mine has the back up camera?

Get the cobra spoiler, it comes with the camera option and its similar to the gt500

Nope, uses stock mounting holes. I have same one but by 3dcarbon. Got it pre-painted as well, matches perfect.

Nope.. Uses the same holes big guy pretty straigh foward instal... 2nd set of hands always helps too

dont mean to hijack the thread but how hard would it be to swap my spoiler for the gt500 style spoiler and could i sell mine after?

U won't be able to, u have the pedestal spoiler and u will have extra holes... U would have to swap out your whole decklid, unless u can live with the extra holes...

Lol I would've wanted the choice to get the GT500 spoiler, I wanted to get it, but this one ain't too bad for me... Better than no spoiler to me

Sure, anything is possible. Get a welder, weld in some patches. Prep & paint the decklid. Done.

Got the RTR a few months ago. I love it plus was super easy to install. True too many GT 500 spoilers out there. At the long run just go with your gut. After all your stang is an expression of your self. Good luck.

Why not use plastic plugs and sand them down and paint. Lots of 99-04 owners do this.

The spoiler is pretty strong and light too. The construction is very solid. In comparison with the stock one is way stronger. I understand that pictures can be deceiving , but I won’t steer you wrong.

I just measured it from the edged of the trunk, and it was 3 ¼ in, the stock one was much shorter

I like how simple it is but from the back it really alters the looks of the rear. I know what I'm buying myself for Christmas.
