shaker hood system

anybody install a shaker air intake on there mustang yet what are yall thoughts about it found a couple pics of it thought it looked mean what do yall think

I had the shaker on my 03 Mach looked great and i would do it to my 13 but I'm afraid to start cutting into my hood lol

I think the shaker is pretty cool. Looks aggressive but the only thing is cutting into your hood :/

I'd say nay. Their are so many other worth while mods. The shaker would be novelty.

Looks sick! But yea pricey for no hp. Might as well go for like a cowl hood

I had seen some had Mach and was at the track and ran it with and without the shaker there and only a slight change in mph if I recall right.

I wonder if you would see any more increase if ran with a cai and fab it up for the shaker

Just recently drove a 2011 5.0 with a plumbed airaid CAI straight into the shaker system. I will say this much it makes a huge difference when your moving. Think of it like a pop charger its holding that much more air in the piping for you and its RAM air so, YES! the shaker system does add power you just won't see it on a dyno graph.

I believe steeda has one now with a shield near the vents.

Trufiber or something like that do it, and also they do the hood scoop hood for the 13 too, call if they dont have it online
