GT500 springs

So like a dummie i bought some GT500 springs (2010) offa CL. Now i know that they raise my car due to the higher spring rate. I think im going to cut 1 coil offa them. So it will lower and stiffen. Bad idea? I have a 2013 gt

It's the ghetto way to lower a car. It will ride really bad and I doubt that you want to do that to your baby.

Not only does it ride poorly but it is also unsafe, heating and cooling metal that much makes it weaker and can cause failure in the spring

If you want a good drop that rides pretty darn good, I would suggest H&R Super Sport. 1.7"-F/2.0"-R. These are what I have on my '11 GT. If you're looking for a mild drop, I would suggest Eibach or FRPP.

For a 13 gt with 19's which is better recommended Eibach Pro-kit or the Sportline? what is the down fall to them like stock shock or strut failure or anything else?

Pro-kit, IMHO. Further drop. Personally, I think that for the minimal drop that Eibach's give you, I would spend my money elsewhere. I had them on my G37 and while they looked ok and rode about the same as stock, I'd always wished that I'd put it on H&R's.

Thanks I will look at the H&R's. Are there any particular ones?

What about H&R's coil overs instead of springs? What else would be needed?

Coilovers are nice, very nice. But they are very pricey. I went with springs because they were within my budget. But if you've got the cash, I definitely say go for the coilovers. I'm hoping that one day I will be able to afford air suspension.
Regarding which H&R's to look out for, I would suggest the Super Sport series (available through American Muscle). However, when you buy them, I would strongly urge you to get a set of camber adjustment bolts from Eibach. The springs will run you $250 and the Bolts will run you $25. With AA's free shipping, you could have all of your components for under $300.
