Like I said!! If you want a low tones perfect sounding exhuste, loud when idealing and one hell of loud old school sound, get the Magnaflow comp series. I get so many compliments on the sound of my car!! Bikers even like the sound of my car!! If i could down load in YouTube ... You would agree!!!! Lol

I agree. I have the Magnaflow competition cat back setup. I am sure you would get just as good a sound with the axle backs but be careful, the more burble at idle, the higher the chance of drone in a high gear (with low rpms). My only complaint with my 5 speed manual (3.73 gears if that makes a difference--not sure) is I drone BAD at under 2500 rpms when using 6th gear. Usually I stay in 5th when going under 60 mph to avoid it. It may happen in 4th gear with some cars that have a stock gear setup. Overall though, I love starting it up, listening to the burble and when I hit WOT it sounds incredible! Either way, look at your budget and get the most expensive you can afford. In hindsight though, I might have gotten the borla atak (sic) setup but I couldn't justify twice the price for a catback exhaust. I paid <$700 (from autoantthing.com) for the complete magnaflow exhaust and (not realizing it is easy to install) paid <$130 for install. I am very happy with it and my wife is VERY annoyed. 👍

I love driving right next to a car with a vibration alarm and setting their car off! Freaking hilarious.

I too have the drone you speak of, but blowing people's ear drums out and pissing off Prius drivers is why I keep that exhaust.

Gt500s are heavenly with the resonator delete. Might be too quiet for some. But add an o/r X and you have a sports car thats all business. Im hoping to add a lethal or x soon.

Personally, I think it's still worth it. I am particular tho, only bassani or Borla... The others are louder (except ATAK), but sound is better quality

No they don't. There's a group in my city that owns 5.0s and we have pretty much every exhaust type out there for the 5.0s and we've all compared them side by side. Borlas are way louder then the magnaflows. I wanted the comps before I heard the borlas. But I took a chance on the borlas and they are way louder in person then on video.

If you just want sound go for axle backs but if you want power better to get a cat back and eventually a x or h pipe and headers. I have the borla a type cat back but will soon get headers and an x pipe.

I got Roush a/b and I can tell you I'm very happy with them. Is a perfect balance not too loud and not too nimble, and the are easy to install

Ok so i keep changing my mind about whether to throw the resonators back on when I get my o/r x. Ive read some places where without the resonators with the or x and gt500 it sounds like crap. Can anyone confirm?

Roush axle-backs and Boss 302 side-pipes

You will quite literally turn heads during a cold-start. Depp, throaty, rumble. Seriously - when you start your car it will show up on the USGS earthquake site.

I have Bassani and it sounds like a Beast at full throttle and really smooth in idle perfect for when you stop at a red light with a cop next to you

Here's mine
