This is my friend Austin and his old V6 with full exhaust.

This is what a V6 with full exhaust should sound like.

Even missing a shift or sucking at it shouldn't cause a 5.0 to get beat by a V6. Your friend needs his man card revoked, lol.

Well then he just had to gets used to it. It won't take long. And plus he may not want to run it that hard.

Yeah, I'd tell him to gradually get used to it if it's making him un-easy. Don't want to put that baby in a ditch. Also, I'd tell him not to go balls out until it gets some miles on it. Maybe after that first oil change when you dump the break-in oil.

See that's where the resonators come in handy, they took off a lot of the nasty higher pitch rasp now it's nice and deep

Buy a $400 dB reader and then measure yours, then send me said dB reader for free and I'll measure mine .

But in all reality, the only way yours would be louder than mine is if you had straight pipes, or I had a muffler/styled AB, which I don't.

I have to shift at 2 to 2500k or it starts to scream and when I stomp the go pedal it sounds like a full on NASCAR vehicle. Whenever I take someone for a ride their face lights up like a little kid seeing a Christmas tree for the first time.

I didn't get that the last time. Co-worker was in my car, and says, "well it is kind of loud isn't it?" so I floored the car. She screamed and braced into the seats haha.
