Lol why didn't you do ur research when picking ur Axlebacks? Roush Axlebacks are well known to be raspy especially when put on with headers and xpipe

It's the best sound I've heard on a mustang. It only does it when your reving the car. As far as search, lol, have you ever tried it. I just did on shifters and got every model year on this site with the word shifter in it.

My Roush Axlebacks rasp on the higher rpm range and then they super rasped when I installed headers and xpipe. You have no idea how raspy it is and how loud lol YouTube it on the 3.7L V6 it's a black one and holy **** it's loud, I ended up installing resonators from an 11 5.0 to tame the sound.

Want pop? Roush with Boss 302 side pipes. When decelerating in gear there is a continuous "pop" out of the side exhaust outlets ... it's nothing short of awesome IMO.

You certainly get everyone's attention in the form of a "thumbs up" or "head shaking in disgust." Either way - still awesome!

You can always just add some resonators from 11+ 5.0 and it will deepen the tone and take off the rasp completely if you have just the Axlebacks

Crackling is what rasp is called man. That and popping. Which is why I said never choose Roush if you don't like that sound from ur exhaust. But everyone has their own opinion on what "rasp" is, but either way add resonators hahahaha Jk

Learn something new every day. To me rasp is a sound, like a high pitched noise.

I have a few videos on my YouTube page that show the rasp. Mines a 5.0 with o/r x and roush though. One video I just added recently when I revved it my phone moved from the pressure. Phone also had trouble keeping sound as it is soooo loud.

The OP is talking about a 5.0 and you are talking about a V6.

Your V6 with your mods is going to be louder than a 5.0 stock or course. But a 5.0 with just Roush axle backs is louder than your car. There is no comparison in a full exhaust 5.0 to a full exhaust V6. I will admit I haven't heard a V6 that I liked until I looked at your video. It has a nice low tone to it. Most I've heard trumpet and sound horrible.

He's saying the sound will be different with the same setup. Not the loudness. It's a totally different sound.

No bro you don't understand, my friend has a lava red 5.0 with O/R Xpipe and Roush and it's NOTHING compared to my car hahaha my car was so loud we took off his resonators and put them on my car hahaha and my car at full throttle is still loud it's crazy! That's why I may put GT500 mufflers on if my friend doesn't buy them from me tomorrow
