This is a true dyno that has not been manipulated You can look at where the torque and horsepower cross. they cross at 5250. all dyno that are manipulated with they will not cross at 5250. If u look at the formulas for figuring out hp and tq that is the comin formulas. I just finished a motorcycle dyno tune class this is how i know.

By the way my bike laid down 77.7hp and 87.7tq
Up from the 62hp we started with.

No not at all I think any loss from the mani is picked right back up from the tune to better than stock so it feels faster everywhere to me just a lot more pull u back in ur seat higher up now

Yea 2 hrs is long but I'm sure it was probably you first time, 2nd time you could probably do it in about 30 mins lol.

There really shouldn't be any loss, I've said it all along and I'll keep saying it, a good tune will make up for any low end losses for sure

I'm starting to be curious about the actually gains of the Boss MI, Steeda CAI and Bama tune setup. I want to find a reputable Dynojet and return my car to stock, make a couple of passes and then put everything back on and do a few more.

I wish someone would do that. I'm not buying AM's claim of 58rwhp for the im alone.

I mean, I'm not sure what I expected but I'm not sure if I feel the gains. Hell, I'm not even sure what a +50hp gain feels like. I'm going to have to experiment before I buy anymore mods.

I'm just worried about changing my tune away from my home. That would suck if something went wrong and my car wouldn't start. As it is my car is too low to get up on a tow truck.

What other mods do you have besides the Boss mani? It probably doesn't feel like a gain because it all on top vs that instant feeling of some other mods.

I could tell that it screams a lot more up top for sure. It seems like once I hit 4500 rpms it turns on the afterburners

Very true. I didn't really feel it in full effect until I did a 4th gear pull and it sucked me into the seat. It feels a whole lot different in the passenger seat from the school girl giggles I have heard from friends when they are riding shotgun.

Since there might be a slight loss on low end TQ, having 3.31 gears and the Boss IM isn't a good combo? I'm asking on behalf of others who haven't paired the Boss IM with 3.73

I wasn't talking about for the tune. He just needs to pick up a catless mid pipe in general to pick up some HP.

Really? I only have axlebacks, and Bama just wrote me the tune to download and I haven't come around to installing yet. Is it gonna be an issue?

No....no....no. This has gotten confusing. I'm sorry,I should have been more specific when I first posted it. You don't "need" a OR mid pipe for the Boss mani. I just meant you need to pick up some more HP. Deleting the cats on these cars helps a ton.

Sorry for the confusion

My fault, didn't read the posts after that, gonna give the Hybrid tune a try whenever I get a chance.
