Hood shaking at high speed.

Ok so i notice that every time i hit 140 mph on the track my hood starts to shake. What can i do to stop that??

I think it was Primer who did some real working hood latches. They look really nice and would hold your hood down really tight. I would say PM him, or search for it. He has a guide to installing them on here somewhere.

Hey i saw that installation guide it was pretty cool but its gonna take a while to do that. Those would be the only way that i would go to get the hood not to shake or least have the confidence of know its not gonna fly up. I have a 2013 and hit 140 my hood was shaking a little but nothing major. I had a 2006 mustang and the hood shook a lot more then the 2013 that i have does.

My hood starts goin nuts at about 90mph
Have fiberglass hood
Gonna have flush mount hood pins installed.

Might even shoot next door to Texas and buy Primer steak potato and beer to help me install them lol

Hood pins is the answer! Will give you more of a safe feeling in the gut going down the track...

have the normal stock hood, haven't noticed anything yet, fastest has been 145 so far and nothing from the hood moving

Damn good price! So this will fix my shaking thing right?
When i go FI i am taking it to the texas standing mile and i am expecting 180 or so. Would it hold up to that speed?
