Header to cat/cat delete pipe gasket.

Can anyone tell me where I can buy one. I remember seeing before that they don't "technically" offer one for the 2011+ but that they do exist.

Anyone have a part number/car that has the same one?

I never replaced mine from when I installed my JBA X pipe and cat deletes and I am wondering if this is the source of my issues with the exaust. I don't feel any leaks but they were rusted and "imprinted" by the previous pipes that makes me wonder if they don't really leak until I've got the car running above idel rpms.

I don't have a second car anymore to drive to an autoshop with the exaust on my car pulled apart to buy new gaskets by showing them my old one, and no one I have called and asked has any idea. I guess if I went to a ford dealership they might have them, but they would be a fortune right?

thanks!

Mr gasket makes exhaust gasket material that you can find at advance or auto zone. Should be no problem to make it.

Have you replaced the ones on the mustang? They are a 3 sheet metal. I don't think I can just make it.

I know people have purchased replacements just they never said what car they were technically for.

Oh yeah I have cat deletes too and mine leak bad at the ball and socket connection. Hopefully while I'm off for Christmas I can get it welded from my x pipe to the original cats that I had gutted.

I'd imagine the gasket material is thicker then the puny factory gasket. It's only about 1/16-1/8 inch thick. All you should need is 1/8 inch gasket material unless you warped the flange.

The opening is 3". It is 3 stainless steel pieces of metal that are put together, and compress when tightened down.

My original ones are imprinted from the stock cat pipes and since my after market pipes don't fit in the imprints, I have a feeling they are not sealing correctly.

Looks like the picture here, but these are the header gaskets.

Yeah sorry for the misleading I've been looking and haven't found anything that's specifically for the 2011-13 mustang. I know what piece your talking about I just can't find it. I would try making your own its not hard. I make gaskets all the time at work. You just need a ball pin hammer and a gasket hole punch unless you good with a razor.

Vibrant 1458 2-Bolt High Temperature Exhaust Gasket : Amazon.com : Automotive

would this be it?

looks right. I mean I guess I can just go into advanced auto zone and ask for this kind of gasket with a 3" opening and if they have one just buy it and if they don't fit tough luck for me.

Better to stick with the metal gasket then over the (i know it isn't paper) but paper like ones?
