I don't know much about it but I know most guys doing this are upgrading to 47 lb injectors and getting a tune for it

My F150 is rated to use E85 or 87. We finally got a station that carries E85 so I filled up to try it out. My mpg went from 15.9 to 11.2 combined city/hwy then after two tankfuls, I switched back to 87 and my mpg's went back up but now it's hesitant to start and my check engine light keeps coming on periodically.

It might make a difference if you tune for it but I'm not gonna take another chance like that.
