You realize we all hate you now?

I'll also jump on the 3.73 bandwagon here. That's what I have--as an independent option--and they are about perfect for a DD that also sees some track time (the kind with turns). I'm seeing a little over 20mpg average.

I usually just read. But I was wondering what gears I have. And apparently I have the 3.15's in my 2012 5.0 premium package. But I got the cheapest package also. So I take it mine is the slowest 5.0 they make??

Not neccessarily the slowest, if you don't drag race or play from stop light to stop light then you car is as fast as every stock 5.0. Your top end speed might be fast higer than the lower geared 5.0s.

Also, you can shine a flash light in the pumpkin and you will see the gear number sticker in it.

I don't know how much you've looked at it, but your gearing is different than us MT guys.

so for example.

MT:
1st - 3.66
2nd - 2.43
3rd - 1.69

Auto
1st - 4.17
2nd - 2.34
3rd - 1.52

and having 3.15 isn't a terrible thing. You'll just want to upgrade your car differently. While us MT guys want to get 3.73, 4.10 etc. gears, you will want to look into getting a torque convertor. Don't think of your car as slow, just that you'll need to look down a different route than us.

fastest autos run 3.31 gears with torque convertors. With a tune and a torque convertor you can handle a lot of us MT guys on a drag strip!

yessir! CircleD seems to be the most popular one right now if not the only, I honestly don't know too much about the torque convertors other than roughly how they work, might be worth calling them too and seeing what they recommend per your gears etc.

Yeah man. I live in Shreveport la and my sister lives in Longview Texas. Me and my ole lady make probably 2 trips to Dallas a year if not more. So I might have to go see them one day.
