Gt500 scoop

Would a 2010 Shelby gt500 hood vent/scoop fit on a 2010 gt hood?

It's a different shape hood, I suppose you could make it fit but you'd have to cut the hood

I read wrong, I thought u meant the hood itself... But u would have to change the whole thing.

Would you trust just anyone to do it? That's the real question. I'd ask some locals about decent body shops. Cheaper aint always better either, just like anything you'll get what you pay for

If you just cut a hole, the extractor won't sit flush. It's between 0.130 & 0.150 thick, so a recesssed lip would have to be formed in the hood for it to mount. There is a lip cast into the front edge of the extractor & ( 1 ) small screw with 2 small locking clips in the rear. Double sided tape is used on the rear edge. Would expect a body shop to charge you a good buck to do this work. ( the extractor is curved, may or may not be the same curve as your hood )

Anything is possible, especially if you throw the right amount of money at it.
