Spoiler and louver install tips anyone ?

Well ordered gt500 spoiler Eleanor louvers and side scoops . I think the scoops should be easy. Is all of this stuff I can do my self. My only worries is making sure the louvers are same on both sides and making sure I place them right.
And as far as getting my old wing off is it that hard . I know the screws are easy but the 3m I read was a pain any advice thanks

Use some fishing line to cut through the old 3M. Then you can use a heat gun (or hair drier if you don't have a heat gun) to soften it up after you pull the spoiler.

Well, what I have done to help align things.I use a measuring tape, and use masking tape to make a template of the area im gonna put these parts on.I use the same method as if
you wanted to say paint a house wall or wall paper.Your just doing it on the car instead.
When you stick the louvers on, just clean the area with rubbing alcohol for a better adhesion.

You better be doing it inside, or you'll be doing it over.

Good choices for both.

Your thumbs will get a work out for sure on the spoiler. I didn't see but make sure you get some paint tape to outline the old spoiler, you don't want to scratch up the paint. The fishing line is good, wear a pair of gloves. Make sure the line is thick, don't get the cheap stuff it will break on you. If I remember correctly there are two screws (maybe four) you will have to work the fishing line around those, but it should be easy from one side to the other, just work it slow.

As for the louvers, make sure you have the put the right ones on the right side, place them on/over the window first get the position you want right and go for it. I've seen a few threads where folks put them on the wrong side.

Look forward to the pics. Good luck!

There are 4 nuts you need to remove on the stock spoiler from underneath. Providing you don't have the pedestal spoiler. Then as stated use fishing line. You'll have to pull up on one edge.

I did the GT500 spoiler, I have been wanting side scoops now for a while I know there stick on fakes but I like the look of them. I had the Roush window louvers on my car, 3 months latter I yanked them off.

Read the comments on American muscle. I think they said it does.

It won't. What facts are you looking for? I have first hand experience.

Here is how the regular spoiler/GT 500 spoiler bolts look . . . .
here is how the C/S bolts look : : : : The top two holes will not be covered.
