Full car matte black

I want to matte out my car, and maybe leave reverse stripes. What's the best way to do this? How much would it cost? Kinda like this pic

You think it'll last? Also will it hurt the paint in the long run?

No they sell whole kits to do entire car . That pic looks painted cuz the stripes would be really hard to do on top of plasti dip

Please don't plasti dip your car. Have a friend who did his BMW and it looks horrible. You can buy a actual wrap for your car. I think the blue and black would look great as long as you do it right the first time

There is a reason most shops charge a few thousand to do a straight wrap.

Could do the stripes in a different color plastic dip. I know they don't recommend painting over plastic dip as it becomes near impossible to take off.

I'd just pay the $2K and have it wrapped professionally.

The vinyl shop here guarantees the wrap for as long as you own your car. I figured that's why it's so much. I'm sure it'll peel and sections would have to be replaced periodically. Especially if it fades.

I'm gonna vinyl my roof matte black. I can pick up a 4x5 sheet for about $75. I'm gonna try and do it myself.

Sounds like a cool idea, and I'm considering it myself but wouldn't it clash a bit with the hood? What's stopping me is the carbon fiber vinyl wrap I have on my trunk lid. I'm still undecided whether I wanna do gloss or matte black... Of course I would have to change my trunk vinyl as well but don't wanna take off that GT emblem again (what a nightmare)

That looks pretty sick up top. I'm not gonna lie, I had never heard of plasti dip before those videos lol. Kind of makes me want to experiment with a matte stripe on my car now.
