NicholasP just put one his 2011 you may want to ask him. I've had great luck with pioneer products in the past.

If you don't need a screen that large, you can do the Metra dash for our cars and a double din navigation unit for far less that supports a backup cam. Unless that alpine went down in price.

Scosche actually makes a higher quality kit... Funny I've been driving my 13 Focus a lot and barely see my Mustang anymore since its winter and crappy, and I took my Mustang for a ride the other day and after getting used to the modern interior of the Focus, the Mustang looked so plain and old fashioned compared to the Focus!! This thread actually makes me want to modernize my Stang now :-/ lol

while I agree, the scosche has become very hard to find. They claim they have a new version but I haven't seen it hit the market yet, unless it did so in the past few weeks. Also if you do get the older scosche make sure it is up to date on the firmware or it will drain your battery until it is dead, even with the car off.

Good to know, plus I'm waiting until they make more modern head units that link better to the SYNC functions on Fords... But I guess that's way later in the future for me, the only tunes I listen to in the Stang are the Borla S Types which still make the hairs on my arms stand audio is that last thing I would ever do in that car

I posted a picture on here that shows the Echomaster VM150 that I installed on the underside of my raised spoiler. The GT spoiler is hollow, and there is a provision from the factory in which there is an existing hole in the trunk lid under the left (facing the rear of the car) inner support column.
Good luck
