Here was the fix.

i have this exact same problem, but i am running stock wheel/tire size.

did you get it diagnosed since you last posted this? i'm reluctant to go to the dealer because my last experience was not the best.

I had the same problem a couple days ago. I brought it into the dealer and they replaced the abs module. I had the extended warranty through them so it didn't cost me too much

My Stock 2011 Mustang GT front brakes get stuck & service advancetrac

Hi I recently purchased a used 2011 Mustang GT with 27,000 miles . The 2nd of driving it, the front brakes started locking up as if I was stepping on the brakes . It was making grinding noises too. Took it to the dealer they resurfaced the brake pads and the rotors . Next day I pressed on the throttle and it started again & now the service advancetrac came on . The service light comes on and off . Idk what's going on . Feels horrible when the brakes lock up .

It's your abs system. It's either gone bad or going bad. Reprogram and bleed it with a vcm2 see if that works. If not by another abs module and actuator from eBay and reprogram and bleed after install. Either way if you're doing it your self, you'll need a vcm2. Hint: it's a messy job so grab some latex gloves and roll them sleeves up 😎
